Program:
9:00am - 10:30am True Host Bone Regeneration
An in-depth look into the ideas behind true host bone regeneration and how they can be applied when using EthOss®. Dr. Dominic O’Hooley will give a detailed overview of the background and science behind modern alloplast graft materials and showcase their use in various cases.
10:30am - 10:45am Break
10:45 am - 12:00 pm Stability without a membrane
Dr. Michael Ainsworth will be showcasing an exciting technique utilising a “dome device” formed from lengths of resorbable sutures to stabilise grafts, without the need for a collagen membrane, even in larger defects.
As well as reviewing the theory and techniques behind the “dome device,” Dr. Ainsworth will also showcase a variety of his cases demonstrating the practical use of the method.
12:00am – 1:00pm Lunch break
1:00 pm – 1:45 pm – Advanced cases - Dr. Dominic O’Hooley will showcase a series of challenging and complex issues, including immediate implant placements, sinus augmentation, combining EthOss with densification burs, and many other techniques.
2:00 pm – 2:30 pm Advanced Cases - Dr. Michael Ainsworth will be showcasing a step-by-step guide to advanced techniques looking at the theory behind making decisions.
2:30pm-2:45pm Break
2:45pm- 3:30pm – “Dome Device” Hands-on
Led by Dr. Michael Ainsworth, this hands-on will focus on the techniques for building the “dome device” using resorbable sutures and subsequently placing EthOss graft material.
3:30 pm- 4:15 pm – Dominic to show hands-on (topic TBC, maybe sinus lift with sinus models?)
